Dwayne ludwig

stylist

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, Dwayne Ludwig began his styling career in San Francisco after studying fashion styling at the Academy of Art University. Ludwig is a freelance wardrobe and product stylist specializing in e-commerce, editorial, and laydowns.  Previously, Ludwig styled windows and merchandised for Banana Republic at its San Francisco flagship on Grant Avenue. His tenure at Banana Republic is regarded as an early period in his career that allowed him to approach styling through merchandising and off-figure styling. He also contributed to Scout Model and Talent Agency and 3 Model Management by collaborating with photographers and styling their new faces.

Ludwig began assisting with campaigns and e-commerce shoots for brands and designers, including Gap, Old Navy, Marine Layer, Dockers, and Levi’s. His editorial portfolio is shaped by unwavering partnerships with noted Bay Area photographers, including Brendan Mainini, Maria Noble, Jesslynn Goss, Danielle Rueda, Rory Earnshaw, Francois Boulaire, Dan Simmons, Mark Dawson, Ella Sophie, Nick Gutierrez, Malak Ali, and Gabin Wu. He is also fostering relationships with a new community of photographers, makeup/hair, and grooming artists.

For the past two years, Ludwig has been styling laydowns and products for a kids’ global brand, Tea Collection, and for Mark & Graham. He continues to collaborate and test, bringing new content to life for his portfolio. He has a strong passion for menswear and is looking for roles to carry out style and direction for Men’s brands and products.
